Portal: No Escape

There are a slew of fan-made films based on the first-person, puzzle platformer, none of which are more remarkable than Dan Trachtenburg’s take. No Escape presents some mind-blowing visuals and an intriguing narrative that leads into a pretty dope ending, which we won’t spoil. Great acting and a symphonic soundtrack help bring the game’s dark, dystopian future to life. More interestingly, not one word is uttered throughout the entire seven-minute short. Then again, we couldn’t care less about voiceover work when the graphics alone look this stunning.
