The Hero of Time
We can all agree if there’s one video game worthy of a big-screen adaptation, it’s hands down The Legend of Zelda. The independently made Hero of Time is a two-hour live-action remake of Orcarina of Time that truncates the N64 classic’s storyline in a modest form that diehard fans can appreciate. Despite the horrible ensembles, balanced acting and some fun action sequences save this project from being an even bigger disaster than the Zelda games released on the CD-i in the early ‘90s. The film garnered such a huge response that Nintendo caught wind of it and forced the producers to pull it from distribution, although it lives on forever on YouTube.
