3. RZA

Though RZA’s production abilities far outshine his rhyming ones, that says more about the former than it does the latter. It’s certainly difficult to point to anyone else who has ever had a five-year run like RZA, producing albums like the Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) and Wu-Tang Forever, Method Man’s Tical, GZA’s Liquid Swords, ODB’s Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, and Ghostface Killah’s Ironman. Not only were those masterpieces laced with RZA’s impeccable production, but also many featured his rhymes. If that wasn’t enough, RZA also had four solo projects channeling his futuristic alter-ego, Bobby Digital.
