3. Technotronic x Hypercolor
Not too long after Technotronic made noise with “Pump Up The Jam,” a company called Generra began to gain traction with Hypercolor, a line of heat-sensitive clothing, including T-shirts and other gear that changed colors as your body got hotter. When you think about what the world looked like in the very early ‘90s, a collaborative effort between the clothing maker and group — which was known for its loud, colorful videos — would have made total sense. But it didn’t happen, and we’re not awaiting a comeback from either.
