2. Atari Games
During the prehistoric days before PS4 and Xbox 360, arcades were the place to be, and Atari Games was a well-known name on the scene. Aside from having a hand in one of the biggest video games known to man, Tetris, Atari Games also launched a slew of other hits, including the popular shoot-em-up Area 51 and the oddly addictive Paperboy. Although arcades still provide nostalgic gameplay in a few current locations, the systems just couldn’t compete with the convenience and graphics that the Internet and string of home gaming consoles provided. Besides, that quarter-per-play system was all fun and games until you reached in your pocket and only pulled out lint.
