Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett - “CLOUD”
Canadian artists Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett teamed up to create a large-scale interactive sculpture called “CLOUD.” The artists created a cloud shape from 6,000 light bulbs with pull cords to be used to turn on the light of each bulb, and visitors to the installation could walk underneath and either turn on some of the lights or collectively turn on all the lights of the sculpture at the same time. The sculpture was meant to inspire collaboration, so using light bulbs above people’s heads was definitely a good metaphor for the inspiration part.
