Federico Uribe - “Goat”
Known for working with everyday objects, Frederico Uribe’s palette consists of everything from sneakers to books. The Columbian Miami-based conceptual artist transforms items that we use as part of our daily routine to convey irony and humor. In 2008, he exhibited a series of work entitled Animal Farm, in which he showcased several different animal sculptures. Our favorite of the bunch was a goat sculpture he created out of cotton mop heads.
