8. Eric Staller
Eric Staller uses architecture and the urban environment as the backdrop for his light paintings. One of the first light painters, he started creating his images back in the mid-1970s when he roamed dark New York City streets, and is considered one of the most influential light painters today. Back in the day, he used his Nikon 35mm SLR camera, some sparklers and Christmas lights, and now has evolved to create computerized light sculptures.
