Etch A Sketch

Although toys boosted by newer technologies have arisen since Etch A Sketch, the classic red plastic framed toy continues to be a staple in American toy history. Using two knobs along an X- and a Y-axis, a stylus displaces aluminum powder, allowing you to draw anything that comes to mind in a unique way. Thanks to its introduction toward the peak of the Baby Boom in 1960, the Etch A Sketch remains one of the most popular toys of that era.
