Kanye West

Despite naming his debut studio album The College Dropout, education is something that Kanye West takes very seriously. The rapper/producer founded the Dr. Donda West Foundation, named after his late mother, with the goal of combating the high school dropout problem that is prevalent in many communities across the United States. The organization partners with community leaders to provide underserved youths access to music production programs. The goal is to help young adults develop their creative ability and reach their full potential, as demonstrated in its inaugural program, “Loop Dreams”—a music production program designed to motivate students to stay in school and graduate.
