1. Burton

Burton supports a variety of internal company programs and non-profit organizations focused on environmental and social sustainability. Not only do they encourage composting, organic gardening, and recycling at their global headquarters in Vermont, but they also provide funding to Protect our Winters, which builds awareness and takes action against global warming. They also have their own charity The Chill Foundation, which provides opportunities for underserved youth to snowboard. In addition, a collaboration between Burton and Mountain Dew has resulted in the Green Mountain Process, which transforms recycled plastic bottles into pellets that are spun into thread and made into fabric for Burton’s outerwear.
