6. Spotted Lake in Canada

Canada’s Spotted Lake contains a concentrated amount of a number of different minerals and a small amount of silver and titanium. During the summer, most of the water in the lake evaporates, leaving large spots of mineral deposits, mostly made of magnesium sulfate. The spots crystallize and harden in the summer, allowing for people to walk around the large mineral spots. Depending on the composition of minerals left behind, the spots vary in color, usually white, pale yellow, blue or green.
