5. The Wave at Coyote Buttes in the United States
You don’t need to leave the country to check this natural wonder on the border of Utah and Arizona. Coyote Buttes in Paria Canyon is home to “The Wave,” a sandstone rock formation. Shapes and ridges have been formed by erosion, and swirls of color, including red, pink, yellow and green, run through the sandstone, which change as the day progresses and the sunlight moves. Due to The Wave’s delicate nature, Coyote Buttes only allows 20 people to visit the area each day, so this is one stop that you’ll need to plan ahead.
