4. Graziano Cecchini’s Barcaccia Fountain Ball Pit
We can think of a million places that are worth turning into an enormous ball pit, but the Barcaccia Fountain in Rome is a great place to start. Graziano Cecchini had the right idea in mind when he took half a million plastic balls and threw them down the famous Spanish Steps. His intentions were to protest the living conditions of artists in Italy, but we wouldn’t blame onlookers if they took it as a moment to take their shoes off and have a ball fight. Publicity stunt or not, anyone with an ounce of humor can see how unintentionally amazing this turned out to be.
