5. “Tres Bon Tricycle” by Charles Hendricks & Associates and Lonici Rental Group
Last year, Purdue University North Central curated an amazing contemporary sculpture exhibit to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its Odyssey Arts and Cultural Events Series. One of the main standout sculptures was this 14 by 11 by 18-foot painted steel tricycle. Not only does the bright red color remind you of those Radio Flyer days, but it’s also a rarity to come across a huge tricycle that’s fully functional. The Tres Bons Tricycle was used on two occasions, both in the La Porte 4th of July parade and the La Porte County Fair.
