Located on the roof of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art in Wisconsin, artist Michael Beitz has created a sculptural installation entitled "Picnic." The green looped picnic table sculpture is made out of plywood and took Beitz nearly a year to complete. The artist is known for doing similar sculptures to transform ordinary pieces of furniture like chairs, sofas and tables into twisting pieces of art. "Picnic" is definitely another one of the sculptures we wish we could skate. Via Colossal.
