Word of Mouth: Chuck Inglish’s TV Show Recommendation and Health Secret
Word of Mouth is a series on Green Label wherein we get you guys onto cool things, via cool people. We’re talking to our favorite creatives, artists, and athletes about their favorite stuff in their lives right now—cool apps they’re addicted to, new albums they can’t stop bumping, new health regimens… anything goes. Prepare to be put on.
We caught up with rapper Chuck Inglish, formerly known as one-half of hip-hop duo The Cool Kids with Sir Michael Rocks, who is now cruising off the success of his 2015 solo project Everybody’s Big Brother, featuring names like Donnie Trumpet and DonMonique. Here’s a taste of his current digs:
I’ve been watching the HBO series Vinyl. I don’t know how many people are watching that, but a lot of the people I talk to about it aren’t. It’s pretty much, like, the Goodfellas of the music industry. It’s next level. The first episode is a two-hour movie. Sometimes I can’t watch it on Sunday because I have too much to do and it’ll really drag your emotions. It’s crazy.
The New Health Wave
Apple Cider Vinegar. Raw, organic apple cider vinegar will cure anything. If I got a cough, take that. Stomach ache? Take that. It’s good to take it straight but I’ll put it in smoothies or teas.
Getting the Mind Right
Sage. It does wonders. A big stick of sage. You burn it, and let it burn throughout your house. It smells really good. It’s really calming, like an incense. It’s really spiritually cleansing, too. If you have to do work, or you just got out of the shower, and you want the space to feel clear, burn some sage.
