6. Burton Haakon Air
Terje Haakonsen’s first pro model made Danny’s list for its simple wooden sword graphic on a red base. The design also included an illustration of Terje decked out with a spiked Viking helmet on the topsheet, representing the iconic snowboarder’s Norwegian roots. Allegedly Burton would only make a pro model for its freestyle riders once they won a world championship, and after Terje accomplished that feat, the rest was history.
