Danny Davis Takes Mountain Dew And Burton Snowboards Through The Slopes For Peace Park 3
When you’re running the slopes like pro snowboarder Danny Davis, anything is possible — especially when it comes to bringing a little “peace” to the snowy mountains of Wyoming. Together with Mountain Dew, Burton Snowboards, and Snow Park Technologies, Davis brings us Peace Park 3 from Grand Targhee Resort: a 44-minute film detailing the innovative snowboard park that set out to bring back some fun — with a dash of creativity — to snowboarding.
The filming of Peace Park showcases a 22-foot bowl, which unofficially turned into the last rider-judged contest of the season. Here’s what Davis had to say about the monumental mountain setup:
“Peace Park is all about bringing the soul back into snowboarding. I’m really stoked that my sponsors believe in me and continue to support my vision of keeping snowboarding fun and creative. This year’s Peace Park is different than any other, offering something for every style of snowboarder to ride. We had riders from all around the world show up!”
ABC is scheduled to air Peace Park — which, along with Danny Davis, features riders Scotty Lago, Jack Mitrani, Mikkel Bang, Mark McMorris, Arthur Longo, Ben and Gabe Ferguson, Alex Lopez, Charles Reid, Ulrik Badertscher, Taylor Gold, Louis Vito, Greg Bretz and Zak Hale — on Sunday, November 30 at 2 p.m. EST, and will be available immediately afterward for free via Mountain Dew’s YouTube channel.
