5. Grace Jones (1978)
Grace Jones is known for her outrageous costumes that only she can pull off, and high-energy performances that will most likely have your jaw drop about 15 times. This is made perfectly clear during her 1978 Halloween performance at the Roseland Ballroom. She collaborated with long-time friend Jean Paul Goude to give the audience more than what they bargained for. The set was short as she performed only six songs such as “Below The Belt” and “Do or Die.” Halfway through her set, Grace wore a tiger costume and, to the audiences shock, brought a caged tiger on stage as she danced around the cage. She then opened the door to the cage, causing gasps throughout the audience as she climbed in with the tiger. To say the least, this was definitely a performance to remember.
