4. Primus (2006)
Primus took to the stage at their sold out Roseland Ballroom show in November of 2006. The show was set to go perfectly with the band’s funk metal music, but the security was still tight, as the venue almost seemed to be overflowing with fans. The band began to play and everything was moving along just fine. That was until they played the song “American Life” and the mosh pit began to get a little more than crazy. The crowd was pushed around from those participating in the mosh pit and innocent bystanders. The crowd forced so much pressure on the barricades at the front of the stage that they eventually broke, leaving singer Les Claypool unable to continue the song in order to get everyone calmed down. They took a half hour break after the incident and came back to finish the show.
