Now Open: “Facing Mars” Exhibit At Space Center Houston
Ever wondered if you could survive on Mars? The good folks at Space Center Houston are making that possible with an interactive experience that's being referred to as "Facing Mars." This educational exhibit tests both your imagination and fascination for exploration with 28 different activities, including real physical, psychological and scientific challenges that come with visiting the terrestrial planet. One of the most intense activities of them all is probably the 7 seconds of terror — a 27-foot "freefall to Mars" using a safety harness and a self-regulating braking system.
"Facing Mars" is currently open now through September 1. See all the details on this unique event that the whole family will enjoy by clicking here.
