Google Camera Update Could Kill the Selfie Stick
You may not be the next James Bond or Dick Tracy, but the latest Google Camera update may get you that much closer to being an international spy or elusive gumshoe.
With the update to the Google Camera app, your Android Wear watch can now be used as a remote shutter.
When using the app on a phone or tablet, you’ll notice a new “Remote” option appear on your watch; when you tap this card, a three-second countdown begins. Then your photo is taken and a preview of the shot pops up on your watch. More suave than a selfie stick.
In order to make use of this new feature, you’ll have to download the Google Camera update from the Google Play store.
