“Hare Jordan” Bugs Bunny-Themed Kicks Released by Jordan Brand

Following the release of the Marvin the Martian themed Air Jordan 7 earlier this month, Jordan brand is looking to continue rolling out more character models of some of their most iconic silhouettes.

Released during Easter Weekend, here are the “Hare Jordan” Bugs & Lola Bunny colorways of the Jordan 1. The first of the two “Hare Jordan” sneakers takes cues from the Air Jordan 7 model worn by Bugs in his first campaign with Michael Jordan, back in 1992.

The shoe’s upper features the same colorway worn by the “wascally wabbit,” on his original “Hare Jordan” 7. Toe and medial panels feature a light silver and white makeup, with additional red and black accents throughout.

The tongue also features a multi colored tongue design inspired by Bugs’ carrot, and also features his “Hare Jordan” tongue tag with the word “Hare” also featured on the heel of the shoe.

In addition to the Bugs Bunny version of the Air Jordan 1, fans can expect a release in a “Lola Bunny” themed colorway as well. For the Lola-themed version of the AJ1, wheat and "shimmer" are the colors of choice. Finishing touches to the design include pink and mint details for some added pop.

Bugs even took to announcing the collection via an exclusive “What’s Up Sports” interview with Ahmad Rashad, that can be viewed here.

The collection was released online via Jordan.com, but if you missed the Saturday release you can also hit select Jordan Brand retailers to find out if you can still snag a pair of these rare "Hare" Jordans.
