4. Method Man
A perfect combination of smooth and grimy, Method Man’s voice is a large part of the reason he became the Wu-Tang Clan’s first solo superstar. Mef is so in command of his vocals that he’s actually able to use his rather noticeable lisp to his advantage, rather than having it be a detriment. Listen to how Method Man comes in on the Wu track “Campfire” from the group’s 2007 release 8 Diagrams, and it will instantly be clear why he’s remained a fan-favorite for over 20 years.
