I had surgery on my arm from playing football and baseball my senior year, and it took a year to recover. During that time, I picked up a camera and started capturing my friends going out and doing crazy stuff. That’s when it all started.
I do my best work when I get to hang around the artist for a few days before we shoot. You get a feel for who they are, what they like, and what they listen to, so it makes the whole collaborative and editing process easier. It’s important to me to show personality and capture the energy of the people in the photos and videos I take.
I would miss school a lot to go practice shooting and editing. Nowadays, it’s important to keep practicing and keep shooting, and to always be putting your stuff online. People will start to notice. These days, you have to take advantage of the Internet.Click to start the list
