4. Rolling Stones - Tongue
First seen in the layout of Sticky Fingers, The Rolling Stones’ logo is one of the most unmistakable visuals a rock band has ever had. Unhappy with the designs being presented by their record label, Mick Jagger found an art student named John Pasche in London, whose pop art-influenced work he admired. Pasche based the image on Jagger’s well-pronounced lips and since being slapped on a shirt, it has never not screamed the band’s name.
