7. Sleigh Bells
The noise pop scene is a pretty niche market, but Sleigh Bells might be one of the biggest bands to branch out of the genre in recent times. If you’ve seen them at any of the recent music festivals, it’s easy to see where the appeal comes from. Even though their 2013 album is titled Bitter Rivals, Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller are pretty much a duo made in indie rock heaven. They’ve certainly come a long way since forming back in 2008 after a chance meeting at a Brooklyn bistro.
