3. The Black Keys

If one band can teach you that persistence pays off, then look no further than The Black Keys. Their commercial success didn’t come until almost a decade after starting their career in 2001. Six albums later, the world was blessed with 2010’s Brothers. The rest has pretty much been a steady rise to the top since then, most recently with their chart-topping album Turn Blue. Whether you’re currently knocking “Fever,” or still jamming along to “Lonely Boy,” there’s no denying the greatness of The Black Keys.
