Join Us at Mtn Dew DIY Fest at North Houston Skate Park Next Weekend

Mtn Dew is heading down to Texas, this time hitting up the city of Houston for the Mtn Dew DIY Fest!

Taking place on April 18 from 12-8 pm, DIY Fest will be a day packed with primo events for all ages at North Houston Skate Park, the largest public skatepark in the United States.

Think of it as an art carnival with performances, workshops, and food, joined by a number of local Houston artists and personalities to bring that DIY flavor.

Attendees include:

Night Owl Printing, who will be helping folks in attendance make custom prints on site.

Houston illustrator Blake Jones, who will be doing coloring pages and word-find workshops.

Smilebooth, a photobooth with an animated twist.

Pop Shop Houston, workshops on homemade soaps and crafts.

SprATX. They’ll be making the trip over from Austin to get up and create some live murals onsite!

Claytoun Doud from O’Douds All Natural. He’ll be offering recommendations for the perfect pomades, and will also be offering some branding tips for everyone attending his workshop.

As an added bonus we’ll be joined by Dew Skate Team members Theotis Beasley, Nick Tucker, and Uriel Esquivias!

Performances by:
Brownout Presents Brown Sabbath,
Roger Sellers,
and DJ Bombón.

DJ Bombón will also be providing DJ lessons for everyone that makes their way to DIY Fest.

RSVP for the event here and let folks know you’ll be attending by using the #DEWDIYFEST hashtag.
