Lafayette’s Spring 2015 Lookbook Debuts Multiple New Collaborations
Layfayette has just released their Spring 2015 lookbook and it’s humungous. Partly because it has numerous collaborations and a LOT of bucket hats. The Japanese brand even tapped Harlem-based A$AP Mob member A$AP Nast and rapper Skyzoo to rock their newest looks.
The first collaboration featured is Lafayette’s capsule collection with Deadline. It's made up of camouflaged jackets, shorts, tanks, and tees. The brand also designed a line of dope basketball gear with Ballaholic complete with backpacks, snapbacks, jerseys, and shorts.
Each collaboration is completely fresh and unique. Their line with New Era has a green, yellow, and blue motif applied to windbreakers, bucket hats, and jackets. I’m not personally a fan of bucket hats, but if that’s something you’re interested in this Spring, boy you have a lot of options. They've also created a line of graphic tees in tandem with SDJNYC, which features boarders in action and city shots.
The rest of the book offers up everything from bright and colorful “native” patterned menswear (that’s what they call it) to classic button-down shirts and laid-back tees and shorts. And if Lafayette is anything to go by, it looks like the Hawaiian shirt is making a comeback. Just something to keep in mind when you’re gearing up for next season.
