2. Noah “40” Shebib
Drake’s go-to beat man has produced for other artists, but not too many. Equally comfortable with hip-hop and R&B, 40 could capably produce a genre-bending album that brings together hip-hop, soul, R&B, and pop artists while keeping things cohesive. For example, 40’s trademark layered production could lay the groundwork for a Drizzy and Sade collaboration, and make it look appropriate alongside an A$AP Rocky track with an Aaliyah sample on the hook. Not too many producers could pull that off.
