Public School x Jordan Brand Apparel and Footwear Collection
Folks may forgive His Airness' penchant for daring jackets and wide-legged denim after seeing the latest collaborative collection to emerge from the halls that Jordan built.
Teaming up with NYC-based brand Public School, Jordan Brand takes a high-end approach to performance apparel and footwear with the help of designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne. While Public School's take on the Air Jordan 12 may be what most are after, the collaboration has resulted in a robust and dynamic collection that continues the Public School narrative of creating contemporary and forward-thinking pieces heavily inspired by active-wear.
In addition to the intricately designed performance-based apparel, the collection is anchored by two sneaker silhouettes representing Jordan's past and future. The retro Air Jordan XII gets a grey tonal treatment and the Jordan Horizon—a scaled down sneaker inspired by the classic Air Jordan XIII—features a knit upper incorporating Public School elements.
