The Punkt. MP 01 Is the Chuck Taylor of Phones
If you’re more of a bare-bones consumer that doesn’t need all the frills and distractions of apps and modern-day smartphone technology, then we’ve come across a product that may be of interest to you.
Punkt., a company based in Switzerland, has been creating products that combat what they’ve deemed as the distractions that stem from all of the bells and whistles of modern day tech: “Punkt. is about using technology to help us adopt good habits for less distracted lives,” they say.
So Punkt. has created the MP 01, their “simple mobile phone for smart communicators.”
You might mistake the Punkt. MP 01 for your remote control; the new phone, slated to hit the market soon, is as minimal and punk as a pair of black jeans and a pair of Chucks. How minimal? The only additional feature aside from calling and texting is the Bluetooth tech that enables you to use handsfree sets with the phone.
The MP 01 is similar to the equally pared-back Light Phone, but offers a pinch more to the consumer, as it has the ability to send texts. You could even consider it a bit edgier with its two inch Gorilla Glass screen and gray matte body.
Head over to the Punkt. site to find out how you can get your hands on the new phone and also check out some more of their minimal and not-so-cumbersome products.
