The Green Label Rap Power Rankings, 2015 Finals

This past year has been an all-out battle royal amongst hip-hop's best for a spot on top, to say the least. If you've been keeping up with our monthly rankings, you know things can change in an instant; power can shift with the drop of a hit record or through major moves made outside of the music. It's hard to keep the top spot in this business, and our rankings prove hip-hop is really anyone's game. When the dust settles at the end of the year, it's not about who ran what month, it's about who is left standing.

Following our crafty, partially-secret formula (first place gets ten points, last place gets only one), we've tallied the results to determine who made the final cut for 2015. You'll find some surprises here, but isn't that expected with the year we've had in rap?

Before you find out who took the 2015 crown, check out the December rankings below that helped decide the victor. We can't wait to see what 2016 brings.

December Rankings

#1 Kendrick Lamar
#2 J. Cole
#3 Drake
#4 Rick Ross
#5 Future
#6 Kanye West
#7 Eminem
#8 Lupe Fiasco
