Reggae Sumfest: Not Your Average Music Festival

Summer music festivals are nothing new. Everyone knows about Coachella, Summer Jam, and Bonnaroo, but heads are starting to turn for one that goes down on the north coast of the island of Jamaica: Reggae Sumfest.

Billed as “The World’s Greatest Reggae Show,” few could argue that point with a three-day event that hosts a Dancehall night and two International nights—all of which easily rage until the sun comes up. Now in its 21st year, the festival draws attendees from across the globe wanting to take part in all the vibes that Montego Bay has to offer.

This year’s lineup included performances from reggae acts like Beenie Man, Lady Saw, I-octane, Barrington Levy, Damien “Jr. Gong” Marley, and American acts Flo Rida and Miguel. We were on hand to witness all of them, and brought you back this complete style recap. Enjoy!
