SCOPE Art Fair: Victor Solomon’s Stained Glass Backboards
Victor Solomon’s stained glass backboards, gilded rims, and chandelier-like netting results in a perfect marriage between what some may consider high and low cultures. At SCOPE Art Fair during Art Basel Miami, we were provided the opportunity to admire his work up close.
His piece How Can I Not is a perfect example of how Solomon is able to take elements reserved for royalty and religious opulence and use it to evoke the feeling of the devotion to the game exhibited by fans and players alike.
