“Egoless Event” Captures an Open-Air Mural Museum
In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, acclaimed filmmaker Selina Miles captured a project for the Museum of Public Art, featuring the museum’s director, Kevin Harris, talking about the city’s growing public art scene while Belin, Sofles, Rone, Odeith, Smug, Does, and more paint.
“It raises the energy, and the energy of a community is related to how people feel about themselves and how they feel about the place,” he explains. As he sees it, public art is an influencer that has the ability to affect people, much like music.
The Museum of Public Art is an open-air mural museum. Check out the full video here or visit the museum at 5015 Bluebonnet Blvd Baton Rouge, LA
