Many of us will never step foot on the moon, but that doesn't mean we can't bring the moon to our feet. To celebrate the anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s moon landing on July 20th 1969, Nike is releasing a special “Apollo 11” version of the Air Max Lunar90. The biggest attraction on these comes in the form of a 3M moon crater print on the mesh/synthetic upper, with additional speckled effect on the Lunarlon midsole. With the American stars on the left heel panel and stripes on the right heel panel, the “Apollo 11″ Lunar90s make for one of the most intricate sneaker releases this summer. Look out for these on July 20 at specialty retailers, including Bodega.
