You see it. You may have even experienced it. But every spring all the starry eyed skateboarders leave their cold, dreary dwellings where they've been cooped up all winter and descend en masse on skate spots around the country. (Granted this doesn't really apply to the privileged skaters in Southern California.) They roll up to the skate spot with the unreasonable expectation that they will be just as physically fit as they were prior to their hibernation. And then, without fail, ankles start rolling left and right as the skateboarders try to get their flip tricks back after months off their boards. As the weather warms and the flowers start to bloom, don't let this happen to you. The extra support of a midtop sneaker isn't a lifesaver but it can go a long way to preventing you from rolling around in a crumpled heap. Nike SB is releasing a new Janoski Mid in a Wolf Grey/White-Team Red colorway that might be the perfect shoe for spring skateboarding. And for all you vegetarians, these Nike SB Janoski Mids aren't even made of leather. The sneakers have a full canvas upper with a white embroidered Swoosh. So start flicking away now that spring has sprung.
