6. Air Jordan 2 “Melo”
The Air Jordan 2 is an oft-derided model that usually gets placed in the bottom half of Air Jordan silhouettes to the point where people hate on them so much that they are now possibly underrated. The “Melo” colorway is one of those overlooked releases, which is bizarre in hindsight because they dropped at retail during a time when Jordan player exclusives were often limited to just the players themselves. Carmelo Anthony may no longer play for the Denver Nuggets, whose colors this release was based on, but this was still an interesting turning point for the brand’s history.
