Max Payne Infinite Bullet Time
Remedy changed the way we played third-person shooters forever when introducing its the Matrix-esque effect that slowed down the gameplay in Max Payne. So when PS2 owners got to experience it firsthand, the feeling was a bittersweet one, as the feature had to be rationed throughout the game. This only upped the difficulty as gun-toting goons unloaded enough hot shells to leave you severely wounded without any painkillers in sight. Activating the cheat opened the lane to play the entire game in pure John Woo fashion. Slow mo all day.
