Elvin Hayes

Beginning and closing out his career with the Rockets — aside from a near-decade stint on the Bullets, which are now known as the Washington Wizards — Elvin Hayes left a historic legacy with the team. He led the NBA in rebounding during his second season, eventually going on to rank the fifth best all-time scoring average for a rookie. His career led to a well-deserved 1990 induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame in addition to coming in fourth overall in NBA history for total rebounds.
