Nike Dunk Low Pro SB “Denim Reese Forbes”
Year Released: 2002
With only 444 pairs produced, this is one of the most rare Nike SB releases out there and one of the most historically significant. The “Denim” is a collaboration between Reese Forbes — already his second collab with SB that year — and Natas Kaupas, and the mix of various blue denim hues on the upper made for a pair that was unlike anything out there at the time. If you were the patriotic type, the white midsole and red outsole only made the kicks stand out that much more. Collectors might cringe at the possibility of these kicks getting a retro run, but with every passing year, the original models rot away and nobody is able to enjoy them for their intended purpose anymore, which is to skate every day.
