Jeff Koons: A Retrospective
Whitney Museum of American Art - New York, NY
Jeff Koons is known for his shiny reproductions of everyday objects like balloon dogs and flowers in paintings and sculptures. As one of the most important and controversial contemporary artists of our time, some people love the way he challenges the idea of what art is and some people hate his approach. Either way, there’s no denying that Jeff Koons has made his mark on the art world, and to celebrate his achievements, the Whitney Museum of Art is showcasing his first major museum exhibit in his home of New York City, which will include over 120 objects made from 1978 to the present.
