10 Collaborative Albums We Could See Working
History has proven countless times that two is sometimes better than one. When it comes to making music, you can pretty much bet a Platinum plaque on it. Sure, we love a good solo act, but more is certainly the merrier when considering the creative output of two artists together, not to mention the rewarding benefits for all parties involved. Some successful music collaborations include Jay Z and Linkin Park cleverly crossing genres with their joint EP, Collision Course, Eminem and Rihanna topping the Hot 100 chart together twice, and Sonny and Cher becoming the ideal musical duo for the better part of the ‘60s and ‘70s.
Since anything can happen at any moment in this industry, it isn’t far off to imagine a few of our favorite artists and bands jumping in the booth together for a full studio project. These aren’t random mashups either. These potential pairs have something in common sonically, display similar characteristics, and overall bring mad potential from their respective fields to create some pretty hot joint albums. Take our word for it — these collaborative albums would be worth every penny.Click to start the list
