9. J. Cole x Nas – From Queensbridge To Dreamville
From the minute J. Cole named Nas as the rapper he idolized the most growing up, we knew this would be a match made in hip-hop heaven. To be honest, though, he didn’t have to even say it — their similar rap personas and clever lyricism speak for itself. There isn’t a hip-hop head out there that can say they wouldn’t cop this, or at least be the slightest bit interested, to hear these dudes trade bars on wax. Somehow though, we don’t see this being a golden trophy project like Watch The Throne. Escobar and Cole would more than likely aim for the ears of the streets.
