Kenny G - Golf
You don’t see very many golfers on the PGA tour with a mane of tousled, curly locks. However, if Kenny G went pro in the sport, it would be a whole different story. You see, in addition to playing the jazz saxophone like a God, he’s an above-average golfer — so much so that he’s even considered to be the “No. 1 Musician Golfer” in the golf community. It may sound a little bizarre, we know, but the fact of the matter is Kenny G has been playing golf for as long as he’s played the saxophone. After putting the sport on hold to pursue his music career, the Grammy award-winning musician rekindled his love of the game and did it in a big way. Not only has he competed in an array of notable tournaments, but he’s also won some titles. Back in 2001, he partnered with Phil Mickelson to tie for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. It’s pretty evident that he’s got the skill set, so he may as well make it official by joining the Tour.
