Arran Gregory - “Mirror Wolf”

For his solo exhibit entitled WOLF, London-based artist Arran Gregory sculpted several different faux taxidermy animals, including a rhinoceros, bear, and wolf covered in a reflective surface.
Fueled by the increasing detachment that humans are experiencing from nature, the illustrator and sculptor attempts to help us reconnect with animals and plants through his artwork. To create the 6-foot long “Mirror Wolf” sculpture, Gregory applied a geometric design to a fiberglass anatomical model of a wolf, which is pretty impressive considering the rounded nature of the animal’s body.
