Find the Music You Like in YouTube Videos With MooMa.sh

If you’ve ever wanted to find the music playing in the background of your favorite YouTube video and didn’t care to comb the comments in search of an answer, MooMa.sh is the solution to your problems. Similar to Shazam in function and Bitly in design, MooMa.sh allows viewers to identify unlabeled video soundtracks by pasting the link into the site.

Once the link is submitted, the software (or “highly trained cows,” according to the site) analyzes the sounds to find a match in a matter of seconds. And it’s not just for YouTube: the software also searches music in videos posted on Vimeo and Dailymotion, and includes content from commercials, trailers, and compilations.

If you need the music info on the go and have an Android mobile device (too bad, iPhone users), the MooMa.sh app is available for download.
